‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2, episode 1 video: First look at Famke Janssen

Come Thursday night’s new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” on ABC, we are going to see the aftermath of Rebecca’s shocking death in the premiere. Not only that, but we are also going to have an opportunity to see the first of many super-mysterious guest stars for the second season in Famke Janssen.

While for the most part details are scarce on who the “X-Men” alumni is playing, we have heard that she will be some sort of attorney; judging from the sneak peek video below, she also has a history with Emmy winner Viola Davis’ character of Annalise Keating. She seems to present a challenge to her almost from the moment she shows up, which is when Annalise is in the process of being more than a little stern to some of her students about whether or not they want to continue doing the job.

By the end of the premiere, you will have a chance to learn once and for all who killed Rebecca, though there is no word yet on if the how or the why will be clear. This coupled with the deaths of both Sam Keating and Lila Stangard probably will continue to haunt some of the cast for at least the first part of season 2, given that these are not things that can be walked back from easily.

Ultimately, we feel like dealing with these deaths is one of the primary reasons that you see so many characters acting so tentatively here in the first place. They are concerned probably with their own safety and their own sanity at this point.
