‘Pretty Little Liars’ spoilers: Julian Morris wants to return as Wren

One of the luxuries of “Pretty Little Liars” as a show is that you’ve got such an enormous, robust cast that really you could have anyone returning at any point. The issue is that sometimes you don’t need a specific character, and at other points you just don’t have a certain actor available.

We know that Wren Kingston is one person in particular that many longtime fans of the show want back, and he is definitely someone who has had his fair share of headlines about him. Earlier this year, there was a massive rumor out there that he was actually “A” / Charles and everything could be linked back to him; however, this was quickly denied by ABC Family, and now that we know that CeCe Drake a.k.a. Charlotte is actually the show’s signature villain, Wren would have to fill a different role if he returns.

Luckily, we do at least know that the man behind the role in Julian Morris does want to come back. While he is rather busy at the moment as one of the stars of the Amazon series “Hand of God,” he told MTV News recently a little about why he would love to come back to give longtime fans a little bit more story:

“I’ve promised Marlene [King] that I will return at some point in the season to resolve my character — for myself and also for the fans. So as long as she’s still up for that, I will come back in some capacity. It would be cool.

“What I would love is some resolution with Spencer. I always thought — and this is how I played it — that he was in love with and loved Spencer, so it would be great to resolve that … Although, obviously, she’s now with Toby, so I don’t know how he’d feel about that.”
