‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: Lauren Cohan’s Maggie enters protection mode

With the sixth season of “The Walking Dead” getting set to premiere on AMC on October 11, the network is doing something that for the most part is very kind at the moment: Releasing a variety of new photos teasing some of what to expect!

When it comes to Lauren Cohan’s character of Maggie, the new image above via TV Guide makes one thing very clear to us: She is not messing around! When Alexandria was discovered, its residents were living what was in part a serene life. We’re not going to say that they necessarily had it easy, but they were probably not particularly aware of all of the different struggles that existed outside of the town walls. The arrival of Rick’s group to the town has brought with it that reality, and some significant threats are coming … including the Wolves.

If there is someone who would be constantly on edge out of the group present in the town, it would be Maggie. Just remember for a minute what this woman has been through! We’ve seen her already lose both her father and her sister, let alone any semblance of normalcy. She still has Glenn, but she probably is aware that anything can happen in this world at any time. It makes sense for her to be a little trigger-happy.

One of the things that is for the most part exciting about season 6 is that really other than Rick and Morgan, there is a ton of mystery regarding what lies ahead for any of the other characters in the town. The story has deviated so much from the comics that it is hard to assume that any action will happen to any character based on the source material.
