‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: New look at Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick
While some network series are going to be coming on the air for the first time on Sunday, September 27, fans of “The Good Wife” are going to have to wait a week later to see the official start of the season on Sunday, October 4. Is it going to be worth it? Even though we no longer have Kalinda and the story is changing course once more, we still do have confidence that this will remain one of the best shows on all of network TV.
“Bond” is the title for the first episode, which is certainly name for an hour of television. It could mean “bond” as in a friendship, or as in something tied to bail. In the legal world, this is something that would require further clarification. The new photo above shows Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) in deep thought, with one of the main reasons for that being more than likely her changing circumstances. She is considering now starting up a new law firm after the State’s Attorney debacle, and also has to be ready to handle the extra public scrutiny that will come with Peter furthering along his political campaign.
Just in case this bit of info is not enough for you, the synopsis below also gives up that “further clarification” when it comes to the context of the premiere title:
“Alicia (Julianna Margulies) attempts to revive her struggling law career by representing arrestees seeking release on bail in bond court, where she meets attorney Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), who competes for her clients. Also, Peter brings in national strategist Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) to help with his Presidential campaign, and creates an interesting dynamic with Eli in the process.”
