‘The Muppets’ video: ‘Scandal’ season 5 star Scott Foley has more fun (this time with Animal)

We know that “The Muppets” are relying heavily on ABC and their wide array of stars in order to help promote the show’s upcoming September 22 premiere, but we do feel at the moment like they’ve got a real ace for some of these in Scott Foley.

Sure, at the moment many out there probably remember him for “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” or some of his other drama work, but he really showed in “The Goodwin Games” that he has a real knack for comedy and great timing to go along with it. That makes him a great candidate to do some of these videos, and the latest one features him alongside known other than Animal, engaged in a little bit of small-talk.

Probably the brilliance of this one is that despite the fact that there are only really a couple of words said in the entire video, we still do get a ton of laughs out of this.

While we are getting to see so many different ABC stars in some of these promos, we do have to say that for the most part, it is unlikely that we will get to see that many of them in the show itself on a regular basis. They all have regular jobs! Still, “The Muppets” is themed around a late-night talk show hosted by Miss Piggy, and we have a feeling that here and there, the series is going to need to at least throw a few popular names in there for cross-promotion purposes.
