‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Hopefully, a calm before a storm
The “Big Brother” double eviction is mere days away, but for the most part, today the house has been a ghost town so far as excitement goes. We really have not seen much in the way of campaigning, and to go along with that, there has not been even much in the way of comedy.
Meg and James, typically the source of antics, are both down thanks to her likely leaving the game on Thursday night. There is still a venue for her to stay, though, and she hasn’t quite worked it. If she can get the votes of Steve and Johnny Mac, she can turn this game on its head. We’ve said it for two days now that the Rockstars making a move does have benefits for them long-term:
1. They ensure that Austwins are no longer a three-person alliance, and that’s huge for later on.
2. If Julia is evicted Thursday, all the Rockstars and James / Meg have to do is defeat Austin and Liz in the Head of Household Competition. Then, you are going to be able to evict either Vanessa, Austin, or Liz, unless something goes terribly wrong.
3. For the next HoH competition, you still have three-to-two odds in your favor to win. (The HoH from the double-eviction will not be eligible.) If you get rid of Vanessa, that’s one major HoH threat completely out of the way.
4. There will be chances later to split up Meg and James. She’s yet to win a competition, and he’s mostly only good at physical comps.
In the end, maybe this would be the wrong move if Johnny Mac / Steve assume that James would be the next target. With that said, it would certainly be the most entertaining move, and they should really assume nothing.
We’ll see what happens, but for now, Steve still is claiming that he is keeping Julia around.
