‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The nomination ceremony is adjourned

There are very few occasions when nominations in the “Big Brother” house come as a shock. They are discussed over time, and there are only a tiny handful of occasions in which there is significant fallout that comes from them.

The same can be said for today, as Head of Household Vanessa nominated as expected Meg and James, and seems to have come up with a new reason for it: They have spent too much time capitalizing on some rumors about her in the house. Whatever. We do wish that she was more forthcoming in these moments because they are so hard to buy, and this may be what causes her in the jury house later on in the game. There’s a reason that none of the three sitting over there have the strongest opinion of her in the world.

Of course, Meg and James are not thrilled, but she seems to be more upset about it than him. One of them is almost surely leaving this week, with the likely evictee being James if nominations stay the same. Meg seems equally upset about the two being Have-Nots alongside Johnny Mac and Julia, feeling like that is extra “salt in the wound” for them.

There’s still a chance with the Power of Veto! The biggest thing that Meg and James can be hoping for right now is that one of them wins, and then by some miracle they can then convince her to nominate someone like an Austin or Liz to make a big move, and sever the big trio remaining in the game. If Vanessa does that, then suddenly there are fewer dominant alliances, but the target is put on her exponentially.
