‘Mistresses’ season 3 spoilers: Is there any hope for Marc and April?

If you are out there rooting for Marc and April to get together on “Mistresses” season 3, we know that you’re not the only one! There are some other people out there who are pulling for these roommates to get something else going, and with Blair out of the wait, is this really more possible than previously? We’re not so sure about that.

While this is something that could happen eventually (if the show gets a chance, given that there are only two episodes left this season), there is going to be one other problem plaguing Marc in the near future: His struggles with alcoholism. Speaking to TVLine, executive producer K.J. Steinberg teases that the “secret lapse [that Marc recently suffered would definitely” be a big threat to the couple actually becoming a couple, even more so than what happened to Miranda, who Steinberg reminds us wasn’t “really family” to April to begin with.

We are looking forward to what happens with Marc, but a thing to really remember here is that the show has so many other priorities that it has to deal with at the same time. You’ve got Joss and Calista in prison, what is coming up with Karen and Vivian now that they’ve uncovered some developments, and also of course everything with Harry at the restaurant (and also in his personal life). The show has its hands full over the next two weeks.
