Do you have 20 minutes of your time open today? Then you’ve got a good way to spend it as a fan of “Empire.” The video below is your most extensive preview of the second season yet, and it clocks in at over 20 minutes!

While not all of this video is stuffed with new footage of the Fox series, what you do get are some interviews with Taraji P. Henson, Terence Howard, and the rest of the cast coupled with some really great behind-the-scenes teases of the show. This tells you a thing or two about how the show comes together, what filming is like, and a little bit about the music. Sure, there are some teases in here about season 2, but if you’ve been reading the internet feverishly, there’s probably not that much in here that will surprise you. It’s more of a nice little igft this summer to keep you salivated until Wednesday, September 23.

At the moment, the “Empire” cast and crew have to be feeling at least some of the weight of expectations that are out there for the series. The first season was well-received by critics, and to go along with that ended up being a huge hit in the ratings to go along with it. This was the #1 scripted drama on network TV in years, and it became a cultural touchstone.

Can the show avoid a sophomore slump? We’re going to find out soon enough, but it has a lot to live up to in terms of twists and turns.
