‘After Paradise’ review: Joe Bailey’s reaction to Juelia Kinney drama
We were mostly interested in Monday night’s new episode of “After Paradise” for one very simple reason: Getting a chance to find out if Joe Bailey actually felt different at all about himself after spending time watching himself on TV. He was the biggest male villain of the season, and he has not really been that remorseful of all of his actions on social media in the time leading up to the show. We had no idea what to expect from him tonight.
In the end, though, he claimed that he was “ashamed” and felt really bad for his actions around Juelia Kinney, and claimed that he really did not even give her a proper chance during his time on the show. That is certainly very much true, based at least on just about everything that we have seen.
Of course, there is no other move for Joe to really do on this show other than apologize, since there was no real way that this was going to get better for him any other way. The only thing really going for him at this point is that Samantha Steffen is as complicit in much of the “evil” behavior on the show seemingly as he is. He just has to at this point move forward and try to learn from it in some way. The funny thing is that the Juelia cameo was somewhat unknown to us going in, and it was awkward. VERY awkward.
We’re not going to waste a whole lot of time at this point talking about Dan Cox, mostly because his segment was pretty boring other than Michelle Collins acting as though she was completely in love with him.
