‘Masters of Sex’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Virginia jets away; Bill’s new program

Throughout the first two and a half seasons of Showtime’s “Masters of Sex,” we have known Virginia Johnson to be a variety of different things, with “worker bee” almost always topping the list. After all, just remember for a minute how much she has sacrificed, even when it comes to her own family, in order for the sex study to not only happen, but to also be successful.

Ultimately, all of this combined is going to be what makes the next new installment of the show all the more fascinating. After all, it is here that we will see her actually try something else out for a try: Relaxing. First, she fakes an illness to get out of working with Bill, and then she takes off on a fun little jaunt with none other than Dan Logan. These two are loving life, but how long will this last? Given that relationships on this show are always in some sort of state of flux, we have to imagine that in many ways, this relationship is doomed.

As for what Masters will be up to with Virginia away, think along the lines of continuing his work in surrogacy! This is something that Betty clearly has a vested interest in, and that is what makes a certain aspect of the promo all the more interesting.

We are not sure how or even if these stories are going to converge over the course of this episode coming up, but if nothing else, we do imagine that it will be entertaining.
