‘The Last Ship’ season 2 spoilers: A showdown looms

Throughout the entirety of the second season of TNT’s “The Last Ship,” we have been building towards a battle like nobody’s business between the crew of the Nathan James and the Immunes, a group that has held this sense of entitlement about themselves, and feels very much interested in doing everything that they can in order to ensure that they inherit the earth.

When you consider everything that has happened already between the land and the sea, you have to know that there is some sort of enormous showdown coming, and that may be taking place specifically during the penultimate episode of the season entitled “Cry Havoc.” If you want some more information in terms of what to expect, just be sure to take a look at the synopsis below:

“After retrieving the mastermind behind the Immune communications network, Nathan James finds itself trapped between the sub and civilian blockades set up by the Immunes. Chandler sends Dr. Scott and the cure off the ship under the protection of XO Slattery as the James heads towards its inevitable final showdown with the sub.”

By the time we make it to the end of the season, let’s just hope that we’ve got some further twists and turns that surprise us. While we don’t want to see a major character die, we are aware of the nature of this world, and at a certain point it is almost unrealistic if everyone somehow manages to make it through.
