‘Mistresses’ season 3, episode 11 review: Karen receives more news; Joss, Calista in a pickle
“Mistresses” Thursday night was a tale of woe for many different characters, and it was ultimately very entertaining from a viewer point of view.
Let’s start here first and foremost with what was some very bad news for Joss: Right when she thought that she may be getting out of that terrible prison finally, she learned that instead, Calista was going in instead along with her. The latest theory by the state is that she and Joss were conspirators together in the death of Luca, which means that this is still going strong … even though we are starting to get good vibes from Joss and Harry again and there is little time left for them to move their relationship forward. If that’s not sad, what is?
While this was all going down, Karen was learning that her spying on Vivian was actually not what she thought it was: There is more bad news in Vivian’s life, and it is coming at a time when Karen was already trying to handle the fact that she is pregnant, and there was talk about a “blended family” for a little while. Now, that seems to be mostly moot, though.
As for the April story, this was mostly fun for those of you who wanted to see Blair kicked to the curb. After she admitted the truth about what happened with her and Daniel, Blair is taking off. There’s still conflict with her and Lucy, but we have to say that for the most part, we’re enjoying this story more than we were earlier this season. Grade: B.
