‘Mistresses’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Looking at Joss, Calista story in ‘Reasonable Doubt’

Can you believe that there are only two episodes left to try to untangle the crazy story that is “Mistresses” season 3? It is a little bit of a bizarre thought, but that does not make it any less true.

One of the clear storylines that everyone wants to know about going into Thursday night’s “Reasonable Doubt” is one seemingly tied to the characters of Joss and Calista. They are both now in prison as the investigation into what happened to Luca continues, and it’s not looking good for either one of them given the thought process that they may have been in cahoots to commit the crime. Of course, the reality here is that the only thing that the two parties really were on the same page about was trying to get him exposed as a cheater.

Maybe now that Calista has felt the sting of going behind bars, maybe she will start to open up more and understand just what she did to Joss. We’re not entirely sure that there is hope per se for their friendship, but they could at least make it out of prison without charges at the end of the season. That’s probably the best thing that they can really hope for.

The one decision that Joss has to make come Thursday night is pretty simple: Is she going to be okay with taking a plea deal? Will that be enough of a trade-off to make her happy? We’re just going to have to wait until the episode airs to find out.
