‘MasterChef’ season 6, episode 15 preview: A team challenge leads to turmoil

MasterChefWednesday night’s “MasterChef” episode is one that is going to once again push the home cooks, but this time in a different way than ever before. For the most part this season, they have had the responsibility of cooking just one particular food item, and have not been bogged down too heavily by having to take on the duties of some other people to go along with it. That is changing for this team challenge.

Basically, what we’re going to see here is the cooks have to alternate between cooking and standing at the side, trying to instruct their teammate on what they’ve done. This is a challenge that we’ve seen on this show a variety of times before, and for the most part it always does create some good conflict / entertainment. after all, different people cook things different ways, and someone may fall behind and force the other cook to have to play a little bit of catch-up.

As you can see in the preview below, everyone is going to struggle with this in one way or another. This is a hard challenge, and we’ll be impressed if there are even one or two dishes that actually turn out to be great in the end.

The best moment of the entire video, though, may be Christina Tosi’s facial expression after Katrina comments on Tommy’s chicken wings not looking particularly great. Hilarious, mostly because it seems like she wants to say something so much beyond “good luck.” (There’s also the video thumbnail below, which gives off some varying degrees of concern.)
