‘Reign’ season 3 spoilers: How much more Nostradamus will we see?

While there are some characters on “Reign” (see Queen Elizabeth) who are going to have even more of a presence on the upcoming third season of the show, we are here to tell you that there are others whose presence could be significantly reduced moving into the near future. Specifically, we’re talking for now about the character of Nostradamus.

So what could be causing us to see less of the man? Well, think the events of the season 2 finale, and plus with Mary, Catherine, and so many other characters having plenty of other things to do, there may not be too much of a reason to bring him in on an extremely-regular basis.

Just in case you want some additional news on the subject, just take a look at what executive producer Laurie McCarthy had to say in a new Entertainment Weekly article:

“He will be in the series intermittently, but he’s still really pissed at Catherine, so I don’t think he really feels a great desire to be under her thumb again.”

Hopefully, the likes of some other characters will help to make up for this, provided that you are a fan of any of the people we previously mentioned. It feels like there is a lot of interesting ideas that could be in motion for the show this time around, as you have Mary starting to understand her role more and the English court is about to rise in importance greatly. We’re going beyond France, and getting to see just how complex the world truly was in this era.
