‘Mr. Robot’ episode 9 preview: Moving beyond latest Christian Slater shocker

Tonight’s “Mr. Robot” episode was the jaw-dropped of the season so far. Not only was there one huge shocker laid at the feet of Elliot, but there were two. He suffers severe memory lapses, and therefore has not been able to properly recognize his own family in front of him.

Is it a little crazy that we basically now have a whole hacking family with Mr. Robot, Darlene, and Elliot all involved? Sure, but the show is awesome enough to make us just want to run with it without asking too many questions. Luckily, at least Christian Slater promises that some answers in the promo below for next week’s episode, and makes it clear that Elliot is going to need to work with him to start to understand all that has truly transpired and will transpire.

Next week brings us further into the Evil Corp hack, but something or someone from Elliot’s past could enter the fray and cause further problems. This is at least what we have managed to extract from the internet-speak synopsis for the hour.

The promo does not necessarily reveal any more than this, but it is still very much entertaining and we’d therefore categorize it a must-watch. It gives you a little bit more of a sense as to what the show is planning to unleash action-wise over the final two episodes. (Yep, writing that there are only two more episodes of this show makes us very sad on the inside.)
