‘Scorpion’ season 2 spoilers: Walter, Paige must deal with their feelings

What is the biggest difference between “Scorpion” and some of the other CBS crime procedurals? Well, in addition to the fact that this show really gives you a wider range of characters and some moments of silly humor, there’s also the fact that this show did not make you wait until the end of time to figure out whether or not any of the characters were going to have feelings for each other.

While it is probably a stretch to say that Walter and Paige are going to be suddenly together when season 2 premieres on Monday, September 21, the synopsis from the show’s first episode back (see below) does do a good job of making it apparent that these two characters are going to be forced into figuring out just how they feel about one another:

“In the second season premiere, the new Director of Homeland Security Adriana Molina (guest star Alana De La Garza) reunites the team when a nuclear powered Russian satellite is knocked out of orbit and must be diverted before it detonates over Southern California. Also, Paige and Walter must face their feelings for each other when hospital footage reveals that Paige kissed him.”

De La Garza is going to be one of the big additions to the second season, but thanks to her joining the upcoming “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” you do have to prepare for the reality that she will probably not be around forever. This is just yet another person to make her presence felt, and potentially shake up the series in some rather fun ways.
