‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, and ‘pot stirrer’ drama

If you are looking to rank sneak peeks from “The Real Housewives of Orange County” based purely on just awkwardness alone, you have to think that the video below for Monday night’s new episode has to rank at least relatively high on the list. After all, there are not many other clips out there that put such a high premium on driving golf-carts extremely fast, while at the same time also dealing with spreading gossip about someone said about someone else.

The primary focus here is on Meghan King Edmonds, Heather Dubrow, and Tamra Judge, and their quick journey in Tahiti on golf card feels almost straight out of a leg on “The Amazing Race.” There are high speeds involved, an element of danger, and then of course talk about Shannon Beador calling Tamra a “pot stirrer.” Meghan explained in confessionals that since Tamra is a friend, she’s not going to pretend to hide something that was said about her.

Later, Tamra confronts Shannon on it, she admits to saying it, but then also throws in there the fact that some things may have been a little bit misconstrued via a “telephone” game.

Ultimately, this is all just wacky, mostly because we have an argument over what is a pretty benign statement, at least compared to what we’ve heard these ladies say about each other in the past, while also embarking on a golf-cart ride that looks like they are just a few seconds away from certain death. Suffice it to say that this is really something else.
