MTV’s ‘Scream’ episode 7 preview: What is Emma going to do next?

Tonight, the story on “Scream” did just about what you would expect it to given where we are in the series right now: It became so much more complicated. This is a show built of many complicated twists and turns, and one of the latest ones tonight revolved around Will getting dragged away while screaming for some help from Piper.

Is Emma going to be able to lend a helping hand on next week’s new episode? The promo below certainly makes it clear that there is some sort of hunt underway.

In terms of suspects, we definitely understand why most of the attention is pointing to Mr. Branson as the most likely killer. There’s already suspicion about him being connected in some way, so why not make the next logical leap there and assume that there is something even more going on?

Well, the problem with this thinking is mostly just the fact that he seems a little too obvious to us, and we still feel like the killer, while being someone on the mind of many, is probably not at the top of anyone’s list just yet. Maybe we’re wrong, but part of the fun of a show like this is the guessing game of it all.

Therefore, expect some more clues to solving this mystery next week, but then again also plenty of scary moments. This is a show that is probably not going to push too far from its roots when the dust settles on the season.
