‘Under the Dome’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Who wants to sacrifice themselves?

The third season of “Under the Dome” continues to revel in the bizarre, and one of the strangest of the many strange things going on right now is the idea of the meteor shower and some of the other insanity happening outside of Chester’s Mill.

We have a sneak peek below from Thursday night’s new episode courtesy of TV Guide. Let’s spend a minute or two working to analyze.

As you can see, the main force of this video is Hunter, who seems ready to sacrifice himself to forces outside for the sake of what he believes is the benefit of others. He is using up much of the medication, and he feels like with him gone, the rest of the town will be able to be healthier and better prepared in the event someone else eventually gets sick. It is bound to happen, after all; this is something that is a fairly regular occurrence on this show!

However, there are two people standing in his way of having this happen, and they are adamant to not allow him to do anything rash: Joe and Norrie. Specifically, they rally against him, and eventually end up trapping him in the freezing. In the real world, we should really comment here that this is the sort of thing that would also kill someone. Anyway, seeing what happens to this character should be one of the more fascinating parts of this episode, and watching the rest of this crazy / twisted story unfold.
