‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: A curious casting notice

The fifth season of “Once Upon a Time” is currently in production, and obviously a big part of the story is going to be getting a chance to see the Dark Swan and what Emma Swan is capable of now that she is possessed with the power of the Dark One. However, at the same time there is another part of this story that we cannot forget, and that is how the power in her could be eradicated: With the help of Merlin.

We’re going to be meeting everyone from the famed wizard to King Arthur to Guinevere over the course of the season, and we have some more news on that subject right now. According to a new report coming in now via TVLine, the show is looking to book some sort of “medieval manservant” who is going to be extremely loyal to whoever he is working for, whether it is King Arthur or someone else.

Is there something more to this person? The answer to that is “yes.” This character does have some feelings of resentment in his heart, and this is what is going to be front and center during a story in the upcoming fourth episode of the show. Hopefully, this was going to be a fun story to watch unfold, and one with many layers to it. The only thing we are hoping the show stays away from a little bit this season is making the new cast of characters related to our original cast – that has been played out and it’s time for some fresh ideas on how to connect them without them being related.
