‘The Last Ship’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Rachel’s struggle in ‘Safe Zone’

We are now past the halfway point on “The Last Ship” season 2, and we have an inclination that moving forward, things are only going to be getting so much crazier for the entire crew at the Nathan James. This includes Chandler trying to identify whether or not someone in Michener can be a leader, and also whether or not Rachel can handle being on the same boat as Niels. Just as if she needed in more struggles to figure out the proper cure based on Dr. Hunter’s formula…

In the event that you have not heard already, the next episode of the show airing in a week is entitled “Safe Zone.” Want to see some of what you can expect in the hour? Then take a look at the attached synopsis now:

“Still trying to piece together Dr. Hunter’s lost formula, Rachel grapples with the fact that Niels, her sworn enemy, is now on board Nathan James, while Chandler works to gain intel and reverse the brainwashing Michener suffered at the hands of the Ramseys.”

The promo for this episode was to us all sorts of awesome, mostly because it gives us a chance to see a major interrogation between Chandler and Michener. He realizes that through this man he may have a shot at his own redemption. The problem here is simply that this is not going to be easy to see if there is any hope for this guy at all. He’s been heavily pushed to feel a certain way. How do you get him to turn?
