‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: First look at Oliver and Felicity’s journey

Did Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak actually have some time off after “Arrow” season 3? In the closing seconds of the season, we heard that they were going to actually hit the road, spend time together, and not worry so much about all of the evils of the world.

Now, we’ve got at least some photographic proof that this happened for at least a little bit. Stephen Amell shared this post on Twitter of himself alongside Emily Bett Rickards, which should at least leave you to believe that we are going to either hear or see about some of their travels. Nice news for Olicity fans? Sure, but we cannot imagine the show spending more than just a couple of minutes on it when there is still a larger story to tell that contains much more drama. There is Damien Darhk to deal with back in Starling City, and given that Oliver has that sweet new costume, he’s probably not going to wait too long before finally getting to put it on.

What we’d hope to see for Oliver and Felicity this season is pretty simple: A chance to see some fun moments where they start to get to know each other as a couple, while also still fighting crime and taking on feared adversaries. The less angst we get here, the better since we had so much of that last season. Give them a little stability here, and then surround them with chaos elsewhere.
