‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6: Show fires back at false ‘spoilers’ from Reddit thread
Is the truth really out there on the end of “Pretty Little Liars” season 6? Well, let’s just say not to believe everything that you read.
Earlier this week, the internet was set ablaze courtesy of someone claiming to be a fired employee from the show, who was disgruntled and ready to unload a variety of different spoilers on what happens on Reddit. This of course spread around quickly; we hadn’t shared anything here, mostly because this was on the “Pretty Little Liars” subreddit versus an I Am A, which requires that you present proof to the site moderators to ensure that your thread does not get taken down. There is no real evidence that this person is actually who they claim to be; they supposedly had a lot of information, but much of it may have been made up for the sake of causing problems.
Just for the record, there is an official statement via Entertainment Weekly from the network / the studio declaring that there is no truth to the chatter:
“All of the info on the site is false. No crew member was fired from PLL and we believe it is just a fan spreading incorrect information to rile up the fan base.”
Show creator Marlene King also denied that there was a crew member who was dismissed from the show. Therefore, for the time being we have to believe that most of the information in there was not true. Is it possible that they could be right on a few things? Sure, mostly because we know that some of what was presented there has already been theorized by many fans for some time.
We’ll have some other updates on “PLL” as we get closer to next week’s new episode airing. For now, head over here to watch a further preview for the next installment!
