‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Will we see Zelena’s child soon?

The fifth season of “Once Upon a Time” is premiering on ABC in late September, but thankfully we are getting to the point now where there is some actual news being reported on the story ahead! That is a little harder to do in early June, mostly since that is when some general ideas for the season are just being thought up. Now, some scripts are being written, and while filming may not have begun officially yet, it will be happening sooner rather than later.

So with all of this, we come bearing what is one welcome piece of information today: We are going to see Zelena’s child with Robin Hood born at some point before we get to the end of the fifth season. This is according to what executive producer Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly recently, and it seems like that will just make things all the crazier with the Regina story, provided that they were not already very crazy already. This is a woman who has definitely been through quite an ordeal!

Given that Rebecca Mader is now a series regular, it is also fair to say that Zelena is probably not going anywhere in the near future … but we’re not exactly sure that she can ever be fully redeemed. Beyond this baby, it will be interesting to see just what other story ideas the producers of the show have for this character. We plan on giving you as many updates every step of the way as possible.
