‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 3 preview: Miami Burgess gets a tough canvas… also, release the Kraken!
Things have really started to heat up on “Ink Master” season 6 and we are only two episodes in! There are a few artists that have really been struggling since the premiere and are finding themselves in the bottom over and over and with such a strong group of artists this year it’s actually difficult to see anyone in the bottom. The head to head set up that the show is going with this season has made it difficult for some really strong pairs since there have been good artists in the bottom just because there has to be a winner and a loser. Makes us nervous that we may lose someone that should never have been in the bottom to begin with.
Next week we are going to see the artists all tackling a subject matter that personally makes us squirm in our seats: The Kraken. We hate these things with all of their slimy, scary suckers ready to wrap around our bodies and pull us into some dark ocean cavern where they will suck our faces off. Once we move past the impending nightmares this episode will give us, we can already see from the preview that there are going to be some nice pieces to come out of this challenge and as we’ve seen in the past on this show, an octopus is really difficult to tattoo with so many moving parts to it.
We will also see Miami struggling a bit with his canvas. He was an artist we really thought would be killing this competition, but so far he’s lost two challenges to his apprentice Craig and now it looks like he is going to be going up against a canvas who is going to want everything and the kitchen sink tattooed on them. We see these canvases every year come on “Ink Master” wanting way too much for the limited tattoo time and we hope that Miami will be able to talk them into something that’s more manageable so he can give them his best work, because we really don’t want to see Miami go home based on bad circumstances.
