‘Royal Pains’ season 7, episode 4 preview: The next stage in Evan and Paige’s journey

Are Evan and Paige going to bring another baby onto “Royal Pains”? It’s the question that has been at the center of this season, and the two have definitely been trying almost everything that they possibly can in order to ensure that it happens.

However, we’ve already learned that these two characters both have some issues standing in their way, and it may only get worse going into next week’s new episode entitled “The Prince of Nucleotides.” We love the title as much as we did the first time that we saw it. The synopsis below, in case you have not seen it, offers some additional information … and also the return of Jeremiah after a week away from the show:

“Hank treats a transgender teenager and learns her life is more complicated than he expected. Evan and Jeremiah host a gala fundraiser for the Center for Rare & Orphan Diseases and Jeremiah makes a major purchase for the lab. Meanwhile Paige and Evan’s journey to parenthood takes an unexpected turn, and Divya grows closer to Prince Quami.”

Do we think that Evan and Paige are going to eventually get what they want? In some form, this seems likely, given that this is not the sort of show to devastate them forever with depriving them of a child (or at least so we think). We don’t know entirely what to think about the Divya story at the moment, given that for a while we thought that her and Jeremiah were endgame.  We’re not sure now.
