‘iZombie’ season 1 finale spoilers: Is Liv desperate for the cure?

Tuesday night will mark the end of the road for “iZombie” season 1, and in turn, a chance to finally learn a thing or two about Liv’s future. Is she actually going to be able to be cured of being a zombie? We certainly know that she wants to have something resembling a normal life again, and who can blame her? Eating brains cannot be fun, and the same goes for almost everything else that comes with being undead. Sure, one of the powers that goes along with it is pretty darn cool, but that is more or less it.

In the sneak peek below, you can really see Rose McIver’s character more or less beg for Ravi to let her use the cure, thinking that there has been enough progress made in the study for her to give it a shot. She doesn’t even care about what has transpired with the rat! This is a situation that Ravi’s going to have to personally sort out sooner rather than later, knowing that she will probably be in relentless pursuit of the cure.

Now, here is the struggle for the show: What happens in the event that Liv actually is given the cure? Would the show really work anymore if she was a human? That would take it far away from its central premise, and while we want to see Liv happy, we’re not sure it is going to be that easy. Also, it was already renewed for a second season, and they have to save some stories for then!
