‘iZombie’ season 1, episode 13 (finale) spoilers: Series boss on big twists, ‘payoff’ ahead

“iZombie” has taken you on a rather extensive journey this season with Rose McIver’s character of Liv, but come Tuesday night, everything comes to a temporary close with the awesomely-named “Blaine’s World.” With something this awesome there’s no reason to wait until Tuesday night to watch some footage related to the show.

In the video below, executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright do their best to take you through some of the main events of the season 1 finale, beginning with the sole fact that despite what happened at the end of this past episode, the case is far from over. There are still disappearances, and Liv and company are going to do everything they can in order to solve this. Also, there’s a little bit of a problem when it comes to Major being held up in Blaine’s butcher shop.

One other thing that Thomas promises is a higher body count, emphasizing that he is a big believer in “payoffs,” and that we all went through this entire journey for a reason.

Given the closed-off nature of the finale script, we of course cannot give you anything too definitive when it comes to plot spoilers! With that said, we would be surprised if the story came to a close without at least some sort of a cliffhanger, given the fact that the show has a season 2 renewal at hand. Because that the renewal did come late, maybe this will be one of those things where you get something that could act as a proper conclusion, but then also a tease for what could be coming up.
