‘Royal Pains’ season 7, episode 2 preview: Jeremiah Sacani returns!

Can you believe that we are already 12.5% of the way through the seventh season of “Royal Pains”? That is a consequence of having just an eight-episode season airing this summer. While that may be short, we are at least still grateful just to be getting any new episodes at all, all things considered.

Next week’s new episode is picking up in particular with Divya in a terrible place, as she was arrested for child endangerment after rushing to help someone in need. Jeremiah may be able to lend a helping hand, but the problem she faces now may be bigger than her (and also somewhat manipulated versus what actually happened with the skateboarder). Take a look at the synopsis below for some more details in terms of what to expect:

“Hank treats a rookie triathlete who encourages him to try triathlons-and online dating-for himself. Evan and Paige temporarily move into the guesthouse with Hank, and Evan reveals a startling part of his past. Meanwhile Jeremiah gets Divya out of a jam and helps her keep things in perspective when a sensationalized video of her starts to spread.”

The promo that aired following tonight’s premiere teased a very different (but funny) story that revolves around Evan’s past actions as a sperm bank … and his feeling somewhat amazed that Paige actually thinks that someone would want to hire him as a prostitute. It’s good to have something light to work in there in the midst of all the drama.
