‘American Horror Story: Hotel’: Matt Bomer joins ‘Scream Queens’ stars Lea Michele, Emma Roberts at Comic-Con

Are you hoping to get an early preview for “American Horror Story: Hotel“? If you find yourself answering that question with a “yes,” we have to imagine that you’ll be thrilled with what some of the current plans are for Comic-Con in San Diego next month.

It was announced today that there is a very interesting panel coming up at the convention featuring not only some of the stars of “Scream Queens,” but also the long-running Ryan Murphy / Brad Falchuk series over on FX. “American Horror Story” mainstays like Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters will be joined by Matt Bomer, who will be a regular for the first time on the upcoming season after a guest stint on “Freak Show.” Meanwhile, the “Scream Queens” group includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, and Skyler Samuels. That is a whole lot of TV horror crammed into a single space!

What makes this panel so interesting is that it has not necessarily been even guaranteed yet that “Scream Queens” will become much of a hit at all, and for the time being we are relying mostly just on the hope that it will live up to some of the expectations that we have for it. Given that Murphy shows in their first year tend to be fantastic, that is the real starting-off point that we have for you here.
