‘Britain’s Got Talent’ results: Welcome Isaac Waddington, the Neales into final
While we have some more results to share soon enough from Friday night’s “Britain’s Got Talent” episode, let’s at least start off here by sharing a few more details in regards to what happened Thursday: The advancement of Isaac Waddington and the Neales into the next round.
Are we surprised by this? Not really. While we’d love for there to be some more variety in the final, at the moment we have almost exclusively singers and dancers, with one magician shaking up the field ever-so-slightly. Remember, though, this particular magician may not have too much of a chance courtesy of what befell him on the most-recent edition of the show courtesy of a bad camera angle.
Isaac is virtually what “BGT” viewers often long to see: A young, talented performer who can win over young and old viewers. With that said, he may still have a reasonably hard time competing depending on what happens with Calum Scott today.
As for the Neales, they got the support from the majority of the judges, and we do really like them! Do we think that they have a remote chance of winning the competition? Not really, but Britain loves family groups and they sing at least a type of music that is for the most part under-represented in the modern pop-culture landscape.
The final for this season airs on Sunday, so at least all acts are going to have a day or two to prepare for that particular show. Ultimately, the ones who perform on Friday are probably the ones who are at the greatest disadvantage.
