‘Britain’s Got Talent’ spoilers: Boyband, The Neales, Maia Gough to perform on Thursday show
Are you ready for more “Britain’s Got Talent” goodness? The Thursday night live show is almost upon us, and there are going to be a variety of different opportunities to see memorable acts from start to finish. You will see dancers, singers, acrobats, and a guy pretending to be a dog. We have a feeling that we will be entertained if nothing else … though we’re not entirely sure yet that any of these people are going to be considered favorites to win if they make it to the final. (We’re still waiting on Calum Scott.)
For now, though, just take a look at Thursday’s participants with some brief impressions.
Boyband – This has been a big year for dance groups, with three out of the six finalists right now fitting into this category. This may continue based on what these guys can do.
Isaac Waddington – A very talented young singer / pianist, but may be forgotten surrounded by everyone else tonight.
Jeffrey Drayton – Completely bonkers. Yet, for some reason bizarrely entertaining. It would be pretty fun to see one of these acts make it into the final just to mix things up.
The Kennah-Masons – It’s a family band! That’s always a nice story, but they will need to seriously up their game / blow us away to have a genuine shot at this.
Lisa Sampson – This is a tossup. Her act is typically not the sort that makes the finale, but the hula-hooper is very good and also got a ton of screen time.
Maia Gough – 12-year old singer, and a possible contender. Her Whitney Houston cover got a ton of play when she first debuted it.
Marc Metral – Zero chance that the “dog ventriloquist” gets through. It was bizarre once, and it’ll be even more so upon repeat viewing.
OK Worldwide – Another dance group! The fear is that these guys and Boyband take attention away from each other.
The Neales – Doo-wop group comprising of a father and his three sons. Really fun first audition, so we give them a chance to move on.
This is a hard field to call a favorite. For the time being, we would say that the favorites are probably going to be The Neales, Maia, and Boyband since they all had a lot of air time in previous appearances, and would give something great to the final round.
