‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 1 video: Alison DiLaurentis’ public plea
While it is hard to have too many strong opinions one way or another about the “Pretty Little Liars” summer premiere just yet, we can at least say this based on the sneak preview below: Alison DiLaurentis may have gotten some covert acting classes during her time away from the show.
What she gives here is a pretty tearful speech to the majority of the press in attendance in her first public statement since Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily disappeared. Andrew is being thought of as the primary suspect, since nobody knows about his particular whereabouts. All we really know about the captor for the time being is that he is going by the name Charles, and it seems like he has some sort of connection potentially to both Ali and Jason in some shape or form. What that connection is still is not entirely clear, but we do buy to a certain extent that Ali is concerned. We just tend to find that she is more concerned about herself than anyone else.
The time jump here is also important. A month has passed since the end of season 5, and we wonder if this is the only jump forward we are going to have now that we are getting close to the end of the series. After all, we have heard of such things being teased for some time!
We imagine that this is not the only sneak peek that we have for next week’s premiere; stay tuned, as we are going to have more as they become available.
