‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Can family group the Kanneh-Masons impress?
There are going to be two separate orders of business coming up on this weekend’s new episode of “Britain’s Got Talent.” First and foremost, the show has the tricky job of wrapping up the audition portion of the competition. From there, we’re going to get into some of the deliberations, which are going to help determine which acts are joining the golden-buzzer ones in making it through to the live semifinals. This is a part of the competition we love, mostly because we are getting to see basically a full week of shows.
The video below focuses on who could potentially be one of the last great talents of the season in the Kanneh-Masons, a family band that has some serious talent with the strings. Are they flashy? Not particularly, but there is a sort of folksy charm with them. This is the sort of group that you would most likely see performing at some sort of local talent show. They are likable, and they will most likely have an endearing story.
Also, given the lack of solid strings acts this year, we would be shocked if this group does not make it into the live rounds. Maybe they’ll even have a good chance at getting some votes there! One of the things that they have going for them at the moment is recency, and plenty of it. Everyone will remember them so much more than the other acts who were seen trying out a little bit earlier in the season.
Luckily, we will get to see what happens soon enough.
