‘Beyond the Tank’ preview: Why is Mix Bikini making Barbara Corcoran worry?

If there is one thing that we can say right now about “Beyond the Tank” from the negative point of view, it is that the majority of the stories we’ve seen so far have been predictably successful. Are we that shocked by this? Not really, given that the entire “Shark Tank” empire is one that is seemingly built on positive energy and getting people invested into making their business dreams into a reality.

However, there is also a downside to this, as well, and much of that revolves around what happens when you suddenly find yourself on the receiving end of fame, success, and most of all money. Being on “Shark Tank” is a life-changing experience, but like any reality show, you have to know how to handle going back to your ordinary life in a grounded way.

In the video below, you can see that one of the struggles Barbara Corcoran is having with her company Mix Bikini is that she doesn’t feel like she is getting the specific return on the investment that she is wanting right now. Specifically, she is watching the company spend potentially $50,000 on a “Shark Tank” party complete with all sorts of lavish stuff. This is still a young business! You want publicity, but you also need to be careful with how much money you spend in the early going.

What makes this segment so interesting is that we really do not have any idea of how this story is going to end. We haven’t had a whole lot of success finding where this business is now online, and most of the footage here is spent with Barbara in the present while we see photos of the past.
