‘Survivor: Second Chance’: Why Mike Holloway is worthy of your vote
Do you remember a guy named Mike Holloway? Last we heard, he was on a show called “Survivor” trying to fight his way relentlessly to the million-dollar prize at the end, winning challenges and playing idols in whatever way he possible can to get there.
Of course, we’re kidding in that you obviously know all about Mike. He’s a huge player this season, and there’s no doubt that he will be a part of the next season in “Survivor: Second Chance” prior that he can. He is a somewhat-strange person to write a voting article on, though, mostly because his story is not entirely told. Obviously, we would advise him to not get clever at the auction ever again.
Past experience – “Survivor: Worlds Apart” (TBD)
Why you should vote for him – Because he’s super-entertaining! While Mike has not always made the right strategic moves, he is at least playing the game hard, is a kind person, an immunity threat, and the sort of easy-to-rely-to Southern guy you want to see back on the show. Even though he is extremely recent, he is almost the sort of player like a Malcolm or a Rupert who you can bring back right away based on popularity and likability alone.
Why you wouldn’t vote for him – Uncertainty. You still don’t even know if he will win the game, and what if he does something in the finale that you don’t like. Mike could get a second chance down the the line, and to echo the uncertainty factor even more, he could end up winning this season and your votes could be moot.
Our prediction – If he is eligible, Mike is a lock to be on the next season. There is zero chance that ten million viewers are going to forget about him; he may even finish with more votes than anyone else by the time we are through.
