‘Dancing with the Stars’: Julianne, Derek Hough have fun on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

“Dancing with the Stars” these days is very much about the Hough family, in a variety of different ways. They have Julianne Hough as a judge, Derek Hough as a pro dancer, and also their second cousin Riker Lynch as a contestant paired with Allison Holker.

So while we have seen these two take part in epic dance-offs during a certain time of year in Thanksgiving, what they are going to be doing Thursday night is just a little bit different: Taking part in some of the epic shenanigans of Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle.” It a chance to show off their sillier side, though we don’t think that they really needed to put forth that much effort into that.

As for the performance below, you can see Julianne hit the stage to perform “I Had Just Sex” from the Lonely Island, a song that is definitely awkward given that her own brother is having to sit there and watch the entire thing go down in front of him. This has to win the award for one of the most uncomfortable routines that we’ve seen.

For those curious, we believe that this was filmed a while back, prior to Derek hurting himself and going out for the season. With that in mind, expect this to be stuffed full of all sorts of energy, and don’t expect to see the guy holding back. Did you really expect that he would? If so, we’d argue that you don’t know Derek that well!
