The Way Home series finale: Star talks sense of closure

In just a little over a week from this writing, we are going to be seeing the series finale for The Way Home arrive. Are you ready at all for that?

Let’s just go ahead and make one thing clear: We aren’t sure that we are! There are so many storylines that still need to be wrapped up, and we are certainly curious as to how many actually will. The truth here is that life, no matter the timeline, is messy. By virtue of that, we would honestly be rather shocked in the event that almost everything was somehow tied up in a neat little bow. Our sentiment, at least at present, is that there will be a lot of highs and lows in the series finale … but we are still hoping for happiness in the end.

Speaking per TV Insider recently, here is some of what Sadie Laflamme-Snow had to say about not just the final episode, but also the series overall:

“I think the fans of the show will be really happy in the way that our showrunners and our writers are so in tune with what’s important to keep the show feeling like it’s The Way Home that we all know and love … I also think that I’m really proud of what we did and it doesn’t take away from the magic of what is a season finale for this story, too, because we’re building towards so many exciting moments for the season, not just the series, all the things that people want to have tied up.”

If there is one thing that we can predict without question, it is that there will not be a lot of dry eyes. Go ahead and prepare accordingly.
