ABC’s ‘Revenge’ series finale: What a season 5 would look like

Tonight, “Revenge” is coming to a close after four seasons. Based on what the showrunners and cast members have said, there is zero chance that there will be a fifth season.

With that being said, why not just try to have a little bit of fun with this? Therefore, we’re going to speculate for a minute or two what a fifth season would ultimately be like, and what sort of storylines the show could carve out. Obviously, we are not intending for this to be taken too seriously, mostly because of the fact that we’re talking about zombies and the idea of new romances.

1. Zombie characters – Whoever dies during the series finale will come back from the dead, and start plotting zombie-takedowns. All episodes will be co-written by Robert Kirkman.

2. New love interests – Somehow, either Emily or Jack would have another new romance so that they can continue to draw out the will-they-or-won’t-they game a little while longer. We don’t love this idea; however, networks seem to.

3. Hopefully, more Louise – If “Revenge” had another season, we’d certainly hope that she came back! She is one of our favorite additions that we’ve seen in a long time, since she combines a little bit of humor and drama. Personally, we still would rather see more of Happy Louise (i.e. when she was married to Nolan) than Sad / Angry Louise, which is what we had a little bit later this season.

4. A new villain – If the show had returned, we feel like at this point we needed someone other than Victoria. There is only so much time to kill her and then bring her back from the grave.
