‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 finale spoilers: Showdowns and wedding talk

Tomorrow night, you better be prepared for a double-dose of all things “Hawaii Five-0“! The CBS crime series is handing over back-to-back new episodes, which will in turn close the door on a lengthy season 5. Can you believe that we’ve really went through 23 episodes already? This has been the rare long season that has not really felt like one, mostly because the show has done a pretty solid job of continually mixing in new characters and never making it feel too much like we are dealing with one individual person all of the time.

Now, let’s get into some of the sneak peeks to present some further teasers of what could happen in this episode. In terms of content, these really could not be any more different.

1. The power of semantics – Somehow, Danny and McGarrett use wordplay of all things in order to get themselves out of a hostile situation. Hey, sometimes you really just have to go with whatever works, even if it seems pretty unlikely that it will going in. Props to them for figuring something out here in a not-so-easy situation to decipher.

2. Wedding party chatter – Is Steve ever going to move on from Catherine? Danny tries to give him at least a little bit of advice when it comes to making sure that he picks the right person to take with him to the wedding, but what we see at the end of this is mostly Steve being coy. Ironically, we know already that Michelle Borth is going to reprise her role during this episode, which should offer up at least some closure.
