‘NCIS’ season 12 finale spoilers: ‘Neverland,’ and dealing with death
Tonight, “NCIS” aired what was the latest episode in a continuing series that has definitely created quite a bit of heavy drama. Above all else, we had some of the best scenes from Mark Harmon in quite a while as he worked to solve a terrorism ring that was involving kids in terrible fashion. It is not often that we see the show decide to do some sort of three-episode arc, so you have to know that when they do go in this direction, they are doing so with a specific purpose.
This finale is entitled “Neverland,” and you can see the full synopsis for this installment below:
“NCIS feverishly investigates a global terrorist group that is recruiting teens via the Internet following a deadly bombing overseas that results in an emotional and surprising loss for the team.”
The promo below brings out a very interesting dilemma for Gibbs in a way: He has been able to save so many people over the run of the series, but with Ned, he was not able to assist in any way. There has already been so much drama and despair at the center of this case, he has to find a way to stop and/or change things before they get any worse. This is not going to be easy, and he has to prepare himself for almost any variable.
Of course, we are going to have more news on the “NCIS” finale as we get closer to it airing. Be sure to stay tuned for more.

Sure, we all hate it when a character on a favorite show dies. But I just don’t see Gibbs going out like that.
I live in Australia so we are very behind in episodes, but never the less I’ve just seen the last of Season 12 I’m sadden and shocked in what has happened.
Its silly, I over analyze but they knew something was going down in ‘Zakho, Iraq’
no protection, a bulletproof vests or something….’ come’on its Gibbs he knows better, he broke one of his rules.
Overall, and despite the flaws, I liked this episode, except for the ending. That just wasn’t a cliffhanger. What it was, was an unfinished story, yes

I would like to see them do something anything rather than kill anyone else off. I want one of those open mouth moments where you can’t believe what just happened. I think Gibbs should decide to adopt the kid after so much death he decides he wants to nurture life. That would throw everyone for a loop and could work into Season 13 (most likely the last) that sees Gibbs retire and pass the team to…. wait for it ….McGee. Tony of course would jet off to Israel after a surprising text from Ziva and new adventures.I thought this episode was okay and certainly recruiting the kids for the Calling was disturbing and sad. We just have to wait and see what the final episode holds.

Ugh! Another lone wolf Gibbs in danger angst fest. Could the writers and PTB even pretend to care about the character Tony and his fans? He was made to look like a complete waste of space in Lost Boys. I’m done with this show.

Yep…Tony is turning into a waist of space. It never used to be that way for the character. That’s why I’m soo glad he will be guest staring in NCIS LA where he can actually be used and appreciated. MW seems pretty excited about it too. :)

LA is now one of my favorites. The plot is sometimes weak but the cast is great.

If you’re oh so done with this show then do the world a favor and stop watching and stop commenting on articles. Always the same people saying that one sentence and yet, they continue to watch and write.

By world I guess you mean you? Thanks for the advise oh sage one. Would you mind commenting on the show instead of other posters?

Would you mind not ruining everything for actual fans of the show?

If an opinion which differs from your own can ruin the show for you then I might suggest that your love for the show is pretty weak. You are certainly free to love the show and disagree with me all you want. Nothing I say takes away that right. As long as Tony is portrayed as insignificant or resident butt monkey and the show week after week is all about Gibbs angst instead of the team, color me disappointed. Please try to get over it. It actually has nothing to do with you.

I didn’t say you would ruin the show for me. Reading is something you don’t seem to do on this page. I said you ruin the fun of coming to pages that are for actual fans of the show to get some Spoilers etc. And if the same people constantly Pop up at almost every NCIS related article on this page and repeat the same things over and over again it won’t make your disappointment any less. Do you know what would make it less? Stop watching anything that makes you unhappy. That is what people do. Obviously, not you. But why? Because it is way too much fun for you to complain and whine all the time over a TV show?

We’re all fans of the show. Please don’t go there with the “I’m a real fan and you are a faux fan.” stuff. I cringe whenever I see that. Being a fan does not mean that you have to love every single thing that shows up on the screen or comes out of the speakers. If you went to your favorite restaurant and ordered a steak and they served you a tough over done piece of shoe leather, would you emote about how it was the best steak you ever had? Fans have a right to say this was excellent–that, not so much. All any of us have is our opinions

I never used the ‘I’m a real fan and you’re not’. That’s your words. An actual fan does not hate on the show 24h a day. But that is exactly what you and others do. So my question: If it doesn’t please you, upsets you and makes you unhappy why are you still Tuning in to watch it? Because you enjoy the hating.

I quote you, “An actual fan does not hate on the show 24h a day. But that is exactly what you and others do.” Do you know what the word “actual” means? Try “existing in reality or in fact.” What do you think “actual” means? And for the record I don’t hate the show. I prefer to think of my posts as constructive criticism. Where do you come off telling me that I hate this show.? Have you looked at the viewership numbers? The last episode had 14.505 million viewers. That is the lowest since season 5. The average viewership is 17.36 million for season 12. The show is falling down the hill and it’s not because of my criticism. TPTB are running the show into the ground. And, yes, that does make me unhappy. This was my favorite show and watching it die a slow unnecessary death is painful.

There’s a difference between criticism and hate. And I can’t see the things you say as criticism anymore.

You said, “Would you mind not ruining everything for actual fans of the show.” Which, you are correct, you didn’t say “ruin the show.” You said “ruining everything.” I’m assuming that you include your self in the category, “actual fans.” This means that the comments of people that don’t agree with you “ruin everything.” That is a very serious problem for you.. It suggests that you cannot be happy unless people agree with you. That is a mental health issue, L. Go outside and go for a walk. Maybe you just need more sunshine in your life.

What kind of person are you to tell me that I’m mentally ill? Hell, what the hell is your problem? You don’t like my opinion so I’m automatically sick? Maybe you need some sunshine in your life.

Many of us are very hopeful people. We just keep on hoping. Look at yourself, you kept hoping that CdP would leave and she did. Why should other fans be denied their right to hope for what they would like to see? How does that threaten you?

May 10, 2015 @ 10:11 am
In fact, if you would have paid attention to my comments on other articles (we both talked already) you would know that I always liked CdP and Ziva but started to dislike de Pablo AFTER she left the show. But I don’t expect anything else from you because you do everything to make yourself look better and that is pretty poor.

What did she do to you after she left? What????? Give me you address and I’ll drive by in my Lamborghini in my designer clothes and wearing all my fabulous bling. You’ll know it’s me because I’ll be “lookin’ good.” Look you started this with your “actual fans” stuff. Why don’t you just stop attacking people on the forums? Yes, some poeple get repetitive. Why let that bother you? Some people don’t agree with you. Welcome to the real (actual) world we live in.. As old as I am if I went apoplectic every time someone disagreed with me, I would have died many, many, many years ago.

You don’t get it. You love her and that’s your thing. Not mine anymore. I don’t have to explain you why I dislike an actress now. And talking to you is senseless because you don’t get my point or any point in general.
