‘The Following’ season 3, episode 12 (and 13) preview: Ryan Hardy’s
It is very weird to see “The Following” continue without Joe Carroll as a part of the show, but that is more or less what we have now moving into the final four episodes of the season / maybe the series as a whole. Ryan is still haunted by his demons, but at the same time he has to continue a pretty relentless search for Theo, a man who is posing a threat that is very severe in a way we have seen from few others.
As for what makes things even worse than usual this time, the possibility of a traitor in the midst at the FBI makes you wonder more than ever if there is anyone who you can truly trust. This is going to be a complicated two hours next week, and the reason for the double-episode is that it helps to ensure that Fox can finish the show before the May sweeps come to a close. While it may not be a ratings monster, they would much prefer airing new episodes of this over repeats of something else.
In the event that you have not seen it just yet, take a look at the attached synopsis below:
“An increasingly reckless Ryan continues his search for Theo, as Mark and Daisy discover information that leads them closer to the FBI than ever and puts Mike in a dangerous situation. Then, a deadly deal is made, but things don’t go as planned, and Ryan makes a decision for his future.”
