‘The Flash’ episode 21 preview: ‘Grodd Lives’ ups the ante; Barry, Iris have a moment

The FlashTonight, “The Flash” aired what is definitely a game-changing episode in “The Trap.” There is no going back now for many of the characters, and that is an exciting proposition as we get closer and closer to the end of the season and the inevitable showdown coming between Harrison Wells and Barry Allen. Yet, if you thought that things were crazy, something even crazier is still to come.

This brings us to “Grodd Lives,” the next new installment airing in a week that is awesome-sounding just based on the title alone. It’s a chance to really see the telekinetic gorilla show his true might for the first time, at least beyond just a few little teases here and there we have seen over the course of the season. If you want to get a few other details in terms of what to expect, take a look now at the official synopsis:

“Barry must deal with the Reverse-Flash’s latest threat to a member of the group. To make matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city in order to distract Barry and the team. Joe, Barry and Cisco head down into the sewers to catch Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris and Barry have a heart to heart talk.”

Just in case there was ever any real doubt about Barry and Iris potentially being endgame, we really saw some evidence of that in the newspaper byline tonight. Now, the mission seems to be more getting from point A over to point B … especially now that she also knows about his alter ego.
