ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Madeleine Stowe reveals Victoria’s fate
So is Victoria Grayson really alive or dead? This is the question that everyone has been asking since “Revenge” ended its crazy episode Sunday night entitled “Burn.” This is a woman who has cheated death so many times before, so it really would not be too big of a surprise to learn that she somehow made it through that a fiery explosion alive and plotting her next big move.
However, sometimes the biggest surprise is when there is no surprise at all, which is why it is very chilling to now write the following: Victoria is actually dead. There are no more tricks, at least unless Madeleine Stowe is holding a few tricks up her sleeve in a post-mortem chat with TVLine. At this point, we’re inclined to believe her that Victoria is actually dead. Not only that, but she wouldn’t be doing this interview if her character was actually still alive. That’s why we think that Scott Foley will make it through as Jake on “Scandal.”
In case you are wondering specifically why this death makes sense, Stowe is good enough to offer some sort of explanation on that subject to the website:
“People have different theories about it all, but one thing you need to remember is that Victoria has displayed that she’s suicidal … There’s always been a bit of a death wish in her. She has a history of that, so this shouldn’t be a complete surprise.”
Stowe also commented that there were many different moments where she, the producers, and ABC discussed a potential exit for her character. First, it was at the end of season 1, and then again at the end of season 3. Ultimately, this felt like the right moment, though she said that Victoria may still appear in flashbacks, and you will learn a little more about what drove her to this point.

I’m not buying it. Victoria just got all of the money she wanted. She’s highly intelligent and she’s ruthless. I don’t believe for one moment she was afraid of Amanda. Whether she’s actually dead or not, I’m not sure. I hope she isn’t. However there most certainly could be another season. A season where Amanda realizes she is now the target of someone’s revenge. The hunter becomes the hunted. It’s Amanda’s time to have the shoe of revenge placed on the other foot. It’s her time to suffer from that vantage point.

If it was her. She knew Amand would be blamed for it. Her final revenge. There is no one to back Amanda that she did not attack her. Or light the fire. Now we need Marqaux to realize that Amanda is telling the truth about everything. Pleas, pleas I know all is on film. But give us our end.
If this show continues please get Sunil out of it bring Mike Kelly back. There are good directions this show can go. I love Emily Van Kamp in the role she plays. Nolan is the best, and Jack at her side? What a team for good.

The way Victoria was acting in that episode it made me question if that was really her or if maybe it was someone who had plastic surgery to look like her. Maybe Victoria is being held captive kind of like how Victoria had Amanda locked up as a child. It would serve her right.
