ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 21 preview: Emily VanCamp’s pain manifests in ‘Aftermath’
As the fourth season and most likely the entire series of “Revenge” comes to a close, there are many questions swimming in our head. How many more lives will be destroyed? While both Emily and Victoria each claim that they want to “end” things, what do they have to go home to when it’s actually over? Both have lost people that they deeply love, and there could be more loses coming before we make it to the finale with the ominous title “Two Graves.”
Before we do too much else here, let’s start by sharing the official synopsis courtesy of ABC: “As Emily sifts through the wreckage of her life, even her closest friends worry she has finally gone too far.”
One of the real sticking points in this episode could be very simple: What in the world happens with Mason Treadwell now that he’s back, and was he involved with Victoria’s latest scheme? We have a very hard time thinking that she is actually gone since there are only a few episodes left, so taking her out of the equation so soon before things truly get interesting would be somewhat of a waste. To us, it is far more interesting to see her continuing to be at the center of all the drama until the stage is finally clear.
We know that some answers will come next week, though that may seem like a rather long time away at the moment.

This is just another one of Victoria’s ploys. I believe she hired someone that looked like Amanda to attack her, and skillfully made her friends believe she was vulnerable. We all know Victoria is anything but vulnerable like that. She is a very bold, intelligent, calculating person.

I hate seeing Emily having to jump through hoops all her life. Yeah… She did some terrible things, but if not for her the Americon Initiative would still be plotting terrorists acts on American soil. Whatever she did was for the right reasons. maybe she doesn’t deserve jack or nolan, but at least give her a happy ending with her father. she deserves that much. I hate to see Ems tortured like this when her whole childhood was ripped away

No I don’t believe Victoria is gone. The chair made for great drama but she wouldn’t go out so peacefully. Not Victoria’s style. Though she was very different throughout the entire show last night. I so hope this isn’t the last season for Revenge! I can’t wait for Sunday night’s and after the show is over each week it seems never long enough. Please don’t take it away so soon!!

It would definitely be interesting if Victoria and mason were working together. But how could they explain showing us Victoria sitting in the chair with the lighter if she didn’t blow herself up???
