Is ‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 20 new tonight? First look at ‘The Deconstruction’
For whatever reason, “The Good Wife” has a tendency to either not share episode titles at all until right before they air, or choose to change them up after already coming up with one. This is what we have with “The Deconstruction,” which is the 20th episode of the season airing in a week’s time. Of course, this should serve as another reminder that due to the ACM Awards, there is no new installment coming on the air tonight.
When this one airs, it is fair to say that it is going to be a pretty powerful one to watch. It revolves almost entirely around one question: What now for Alicia Florrick? After she refused to step down from her State’s Attorney position after what happened with the voter-fraud scandal, it still appears that she could somehow still be forced into it. There is not always a whole lot of justice within the world of politics, and this is something that she has been forced to learn the hard way.
The unfortunate thing about all of this is that it does make us question one very thing: If this is where we were going with the story of Alicia this season, what was the point of spending so much time on it? Sure, it gave us the wonderful David Hyde Pierce, but are we now back in the same place that we were going into the season?
Hopefully, this episode will give us some insight … and also a little hope for Alicia, as well. We want to have a reason to be optimistic going into the final two episodes this season.
