‘Scorpion’ finale spoilers: Boss on movement in Walter – Paige story

Monday night marks the airing of “Postcards from the Edge,” the finale for “Scorpion” that could shake up almost everything when it comes to the series. It is a chance to see if Walter O’Brien could actually die after being on the side of a cliff, or if his team can rally and execute what is one of their most difficult tasks yet: Finding a way to ensure that he can stay safe.

Beyond this, though, it looks like there could be a little more romance still in the air when it comes to Paige and Walter. These two have at least been circled as possible love interests for each other through most of the season, and it does not seem as though producers plan on going the direction of many other crime dramas in dragging this out as long as humanly possible. Instead, executive producer Nick Santora tells TVLine that Paige’s feelings for Walter will be revealed in the finale, whatever those specific feelings may be.

To go along with that, fellow EP Nick Wootton also told the website that there is something else intriguing to come in this episode, but he would only give what has to be the most cryptic tease of all time:

“We do something that we have not done all season long — that certain fans have been waiting for — in the finale … I will not say what that is.”

Ultimately, some things are better off waiting to see, right? We at least hope so.
