‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: Don’t expect the story to drag
Given that Tuesday nights have been spent by many as of late watching new episodes of “Pretty Little Liars,” it feels appropriate that we would at least spend a moment or two today discussing some what could be coming up when season 6 premieres in the summer. Hopefully, this helps fans somewhat to ease the pain of not having some new episodes to watch right now.
Of course, the show is keeping things relatively hush-hush at the moment since season 6 is months away, but it feels like creator Marlene King is trying to do away with one of the biggest criticisms of the show in season 5: That it moved much too slow. Based on what she said to E! News recently, you can anticipate a faster pace and some crazy things coming up now that we know that Charles is “A”:
“The fallout of what they go through definitely leaves them scarred and in need of healing and rebonding with the families and their bed buddies and their loved ones … [The next season is] really about answers and closure for all of them. It is an ending to the story that we started so long ago, but it’s a very fast-paced ending to the story.”
What’s interesting about this comment is that it is not a clear, definitive ending to everything, given that the show also has a seventh season ordered. Unless this is meant to be some sort of isolated story in the future, which could be fun in its own right, season 6 would have to carry into it … right?
